In the Saint Helena appellation of the Napa Valley lies a vineyard with a heritage stretching back to the early days of California history – the historic Beckstoffer Bourn Vineyard.
Situated on the sloping, valley-floor bench lands of the Mayacamas Range and traversed by a forgotten creek-bed, this exceptional vineyard’s alluvial soils offer ideal conditions for the cultivation of Cabernet Sauvignon and old-growth Petite Sirah fruit.

Today, as President of Beckstoffer Vineyards, David stewards some of the most venerated vineyards in California. Kata is David’s first winemaking venture.
